My article this time looks at the other side of things : about the progression of environmental awareness and management in Malaysia in the past few decades. While it is true there is still (a lot of) room for improvement; credit should be given where credit is due.
The authorities, academics and other stakeholders have played important, critical roles to promote environmental preservation. I shudder to think how things would be like today if they were not around.
